Our story
L’Entre-Deux — Built with love, rooted in memories
Our connection to this region goes back to our earliest childhood memories. The Ardennes have always meant nostalgia, peace, and the scent of the forest to us. When we found this unique property in Houffalize in 2022 — tucked right between the woods and the river Ourthe — we instantly knew we had found our home away from home.
The house already carried a rich story: the art left by the previous owner (a local artist) and authentic features, like the original cattle trough in the kitchen, still whisper tales of the past. For three years, we dedicated all our spare time to this dream. Balancing busy jobs and expecting our second child — who was born right in the middle of the renovations —, we stripped the house down to its bones and rebuilt every single inch with our own hands.
Every stone carries our heart, energy, and love. L’Entre-Deux has become our sanctuary, right in the heart of nature. We truly hope it offers you the exact same warmth, rest, and renewal.
